PORTLAND, Ore. - Northwest Nazarene golfer Nick Hardy (Sr., Edmonds, WA - King) has been selected the GNAC Red Lion Men's Golfer of the Week.
Hardy, who ranks 18th in the GNAC in scoring, finished fifth in the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Turlock, Calif., with a 54-hole score of eight-over-par 224.
Only Western Washington’s Mark Strickland (So., Mukilteo, WA), who ranks second in the conference in scoring, finished higher than Hardy among GNAC golfers. He placed second with a 220 total.
Hardy, who is averaging 76.4 strokes per round on the season, led the Crusaders to an eighth-place finish. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament.
