If commercial or non-commercial media (Television, Radio, Internet Audio or Visual Stream) are present, there will be media timeouts (75 seconds) at each dead ball after the 16, 12, 8 and 4 minute marks of each half.
Each team is also entitled to one 60-second and four 30-second timeouts. The first timeout requested by either team in the second half shall automatically be extended to 75 seconds. Team timeouts never kill media timeouts.
Each team may carry up to three 30-second timeouts into the second half. Unused 30-second time outs may be used in the extra period (s). Each team shall be entitled to one additional 30-second timeout during the extra period.
Per NCAA rules, this policy applies only to contests in which media (Television, Radio, Internet Audio or Visual Stream) are present.
