PORTLAND, Ore. – A pair of history-making performances by Western Washington women’s soccer forward Zoe Milburn and Northwest Nazarene women’s golfer Taylor Entenman lead off the list of GNAC Player of the Week award winners.

Milburn was named the Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after she became the second player in conference history to score four goals in a match in the Vikings’ 8-0 win over Montana State Billings on Saturday. The junior matched the conference record set by Northwest Nazarene’s Rikki Myers earlier this season and set a record for goals in a GNAC match.

Entenman was named the Women’s Golf Co-Player of the Week for her victory at the Saint Martin’s Invitational. The sophomore turned in a two-round score of 161 to earn medalist honors. It is only the second time in program history that an NNU player has earned medalist honors and led the Nighthawks to just the second team victory in program history.

Entenman shared the honor with Simon Fraser senior Emily Leung, who took second place at the Dixie State Fall Invitational to open the week. Leung shot back-to-back rounds of 1-under-par 71 to finish at 142, one stroke behind winner Chrisay Arai of Holy Names.

Another high-scoring performance earned Simon Fraser senior forward William Raphael selection as the Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Raphael was one of two SFU players to score a hat trick last week, netting the first three goals of the match in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Seattle Pacific. He opened the week with an assist in Thursday’s 5-1 win over Saint Martin’s.

Western Washington senior Nick Morgan was named the Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Morgan scored a dramatic header with just one second left in regulation to allow the Vikings to tie 1-1 with Saint Martin’s on Saturday.

Western Oregon senior goalkeeper Alex Qualls earned the Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after she posted her second shutout of the season with a 2-0 win over Seattle Pacific on Saturday. She made four saves to help give the Wolves their first win over the Falcons since 2002.

Central Washington swept the cross country weekly honors with a pair of top-10 finishes at the John Payne/Curtis Invitational in University Place, Washington. Junior Lily Tyrrell earned the women’s award for her eighth-place finish, covering the 4,827-meter course in 18:22. Junior Trevor Allen won the men’s award after he finished 12th with a time of 25:39 over 8,000 meters.

Wildcats’ sophomore quarterback Christian Moore was named the Football Offensive Player of the Week for his effort in the Wildcats’ 48-41 loss at West Texas A&M on Saturday. Entering in the second quarter, Moore completed 18 of 31 passes for 339 yards and four touchdowns, leading CWU back from a 41-10 deficit to be able to challenge for the win.

Western Oregon sophomore linebacker Jaylin Parnell earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for his seven tackles, half-tackle for loss, half-sack and interception in the Wolves’ 51-14 win over Simon Fraser. The win lifted WOU to 3-0 in conference play. Junior Andrew Gross was named the Special Teams Player of the Week after he made seven extra-points and one field goal, punted four times for an average of 44.3 yards per punt and kicked off nine times for an average of 58.6 yards per kickoff.
