Why Did You Decide To Become A Faculty Athletic Representative: I was a college baseball player and was on the athletics committee at Central Washington. When the opening came up it looked like a good way to mix my passion for athletics with my passion for being a student-centered faculty member.

Who Has Influenced You The Most As A Professional - Either As An Inspiration, A Mentor, Or Philosophically: My colleague, David Gee, whom I have worked with for 33 years. He is dedicated and student-centered.

Biggest Obstacle Overcome As A Professional: The desire for all faculty to appreciate the importance of athletics to the development of student-athletes.

Favorite Part Of Your Job: Working with students.

What Does Division II Mean To You: It is a place where student-athletes can be students first.

Extracurricular Activities: I am a hiker and triathlete.

Best Advice You’d Give To Student-Athletes: Go to class and study.

If You Could Spend The Day With One Person (Past Or Present), Who Would It Be (And Why): Roberto Clemente. He has been a role model because of his dedication to serving others.
