PORTLAND, Ore. - GNAC Insider returned Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) for the show's season finale.

Leading off the show was Montana State Billings baseball pitcher Steen Fredrickson. The Yellowjackets are currently in the middle of postseason play and are fresh off a title at the GNAC Championships last week in Portland.

Helped by Fredrickson's one-hit, shutout performance against No. 2 seed Western Oregon, MSUB won three games in three days at Porter Park to clinch the first-ever GNAC Championships title in program history. The championship was the club's second in as many weeks as the team won the conference's regular-season title just one weekend prior.

Fredrickson and Montana State Billings will return to the diamond on Thursday night as it faces Point Loma in the first round of the NCAA Division II West Regional.

Fresh off her Performance of the Meet award at the GNAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Central Washington sophomore Sidney Trinidad joined the program. Trinidad received the honor after posting a GNAC record time of 58.22 seconds in Friday’s preliminaries of the 400-meter hurdles. She now turns her attention to the NCAA Championships, held May 23-25 in Kingsville, Texas.

Also joining the show was Concordia men's basketball head coach Rodrick Rhodes. Rhodes was just announced as the fifth head coach in program history last week. A first-round draft pick of the Houston Rockets in 1997, the Jersey City, New Jersey native has spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach on the sidelines for the Northwest Nazarene men's basketball team.

Rounding out the show was Saint Martin's men's soccer defender Sebastian Navarro. Navarro is entering his senior season in Lacey and will be the first spring soccer guest in GNAC Insider history.

The Saints are coming off a successful spring season in addition to recording victories in each of their final three games of the 2018 campaign. They outscored their opponents 12-4 in that stretch, ending the year with plenty of momentum and the second-longest winning streak in the conference.

Navarro joined the program to talk about the team's offseason work while previewing the experienced roster SMU carries into 2019.
