OFFENSE
Kasey Reeve, Seattle Pacific

Reeve finished with four goals and an assist in two Falcons’ victories. She opened the week with the opening goal of the match and an assist in the Falcons’ 3-2 double-overtime win over Central Washington on Thursday. Reeve then notched the 19th hat trick in school history and the fifth in the GNAC this season in SPU’s 6-0 shutout of Saint Martin’s.

Greene played 169 of a possible 180 minutes as the Concordia allowed nine total shot attempts and one shot on goal in a 1-0 win over Northwest Nazarene on Thursday and a 3-0 shutout at Montana State Billings on Saturday.

AROUND THE GNAC
CENTRAL WASHINGTON
LAST WEEK: Lost at Seattle Pacific 3-2. Lost at Simon Fraser 4-1.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 vs. Northwest Nazarene, 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at Western Washington, 2 p.m.
• In last week’s matches, Central Washington fell in a 3-2 double-overtime loss to Seattle Pacific and a 4-1 loss to Simon Fraser.
• Senior Mackenzie Nolte is now one goal away from the CWU career record after becoming the all-time points leads following her goal against Simon Fraser. Not only did Nolte become the all-time CWU points leader, she also tied the career high for goals (27). Nolte has scored seven or more goals in three of her four seasons as a Wildcat.  Nolte is also ninth in career points per game (0.96) for CWU and has eight career game-winning goals.
• Nolte ranks second in the GNAC with 49 shots while Whitney Lowe ranks fourth with 39. Holt ranks second in the conference with 76 saves, averaging 6.33 per match.
• The Wildcats return to action at home against Northwest Nazarene on Thursday and away to No. 2 Western Washington this weekend.
• In their previous matchup, the Nighthawks topped the Wildcats 3-1 in Nampa, Idaho.

CONCORDIA
LAST WEEK: Won vs. Northwest Nazarene 1-0. Won at Montana State Billings 3-0.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 vs. Western Oregon, 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at Simon Fraser, 2 p.m.
• Concordia has won seven games in a row and has recorded shutouts in its last three contests.
• The Cavaliers are coming off a 2-0 week in which they recorded a 1-0 home win over Northwest Nazarene and a 3-0 shutout at Montana State Billings on Saturday.
• Concordia is averaging 1.85 goals per match while allowing 0.74 goals per match. Gabrielle Ewing leads the team with 16 points and a team-high six assists.
• The Cavs are outscoring GNAC foes 18-1 this season and have recorded seven shutouts during conference play. Goalkeeper Anna Miller has a 0.60 goals against average with 22 saves and five shutouts in 10 matches. Shannon Peth has posted a 1.14 goals against average with eight saves and a .667 save percentage along with two shutouts in four matches for the Cavs.
• For the first time in its Division II history, Concordia is ranked in the top-25 (No. 25) in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Women’s poll. The Cavs are also No. 8 in the latest NCAA Division II West Region Poll.
• Defender Katie Greene was awarded the GNAC Women’s Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Cavs to a 2-0 week.
• The Cavaliers look to extend their unbeaten streak to 10 this week as they host Western Oregon this Thursday and travel to Simon Fraser on Saturday at 2 p.m.

MONTANA STATE BILLINGS
LAST WEEK: Tied vs. Western Oregon, 1-1. Lost vs. Concordia 3-0.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 at Saint Martin's, 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Seattle Pacific, 2 p.m.
• Last week, Montana State Billings earned its first shutout of the season with a 0-0 double-overtime draw against Western Oregon.
• In their final home match of the season just two days later, MSUB fell to No. 25 Concordia 3-0.
• Freshman goalkeeper Erinn Harder earned her first career shutout in the scoreless draw against WOU, making nine saves in 110 minutes. Harder registered 11 saves against Concordia on Saturday, giving her 57 for the season. She enters this week tied for fourth in the conference in total saves and third with 5.70 saves per game.
• Playing every minute last week, defender Kalin Sandow recorded her seventh complete game in a row. Sandow has started all 14 matches this season and is averaging 88.4 minutes per game. Entering this week, Sandow is one of just three players in the conference to have played more than 1,200 minutes this fall.
• Montana State Billings finishes the GNAC’s penultimate week at Saint Martin’s and Seattle Pacific.
• The Yellowjackets are 11-7-2 all-time against Saint Martin’s and are 5-3-2 in away matches played in Lacey. The Saints have won the last two meetings between the teams.
• In their last meeting, Montana State Billings played Seattle Pacific to 3-3 double-overtime draw in Seattle on Oct. 22, 2016. Juniors Jordan Devoto and Alycia Wright each tallied goals for the ‘Jackets.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE
LAST WEEK: Lost at Concordia 1-0. Won vs. Western Oregon 1-0.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 at Central Washington, 3 p.m.
• Northwest Nazarene fell 1-0 last Thursday at Concordia.
• Delayed half an hour due to lightning, the teams played scoreless through the first half of play. The Cavaliers eventually netted the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 57th minute.
• The Nighthawks found their winning ways two days later when Hannah Holm struck in the 92nd minute to give Northwest Nazarene 1-0 overtime victory over Western Oregon.
• Scoreless after regulation, the Nighthawks held a 12-9 advantage in shots and a 5-4 lead in corner opportunities.
• The win gave Northwest Nazarene its sixth GNAC win this season, the most any NNU women’s team has accomplished in a single season since joining the league in 2002.
• With a pair of wins this week, NNU will ensure its spot in this year’s GNAC Championships. The Nighthawks currently sit tied for third with Seattle Pacific. Each team has 18 points. Simon Fraser is in fifth with 12 points and has three games remaining as well.
• Nighthawks’ goalkeeper Danielle Ortiz is tied for first in the GNAC with seven shutouts, averaging 0.58 shutouts per match.
• The Nighthawks travel to Ellensburg, Wash., to take on Central Washington this Thursday in their only match this week.

SAINT MARTIN'S
LAST WEEK: Lost vs. Seattle Pacific, 6-0.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 vs. Montana State Billings, 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at Western Oregon, 1 p.m.
• An early goal from the Vikings factored into Western Washington’s 4-0 victory over Saint Martin’s last Tuesday.
• The Saints’ defense held firm to the start off the second half. Down 1-0 heading into halftime, SMU was anchored by Sara Christensen who came up with five saves in the first 18 minutes. The Vikings’ earned a goal in the 72nd minute to extend their lead to 2-0.
• In a day where the Saints honored their three seniors (Dulce Armas, Lauren Allison and Brittany Orlosky), Seattle Pacific defeated the Saints 6-0.
• Jade Castaneda and Allison paced the Saints’ offensive attack with three shots in the opening 13 minutes. The Falcons found thegoal 15 minutes into the match.
• Allison led the team with four shots and two on goal. Orlosky, Castaneda, Gloria Petri, Madison Walker and Drayer-Hoopii combined for five shots and two shots on goal. Ali Koehler turned away six shots in the match.
• Koehler is first in the GNAC and ranks 11th in Division II with 7.90 saves per match.
• Saint Martin’s ends its home slate against Montana State Billings this Thursday. The Saints finish the week at Western Oregon.

SEATTLE PACIFIC
LAST WEEK: Won vs. Central Washington 3-2. Won at Saint Martin's, 6-0.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 vs. Western Washington, 7 p.m. Oct. 21 vs. Montana State Billings, 2 p.m.
• Seattle Pacific tallied nine goals in its two matches last week at Central Washington (3-2) and Saint Martin’s (6-0).
• Kasey Reeve, who recorded four goals and an assist in a pair of SPU victories, was named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week. Reeve recorded the 19th hat-trick in SPU women’s soccer history at Saint Martin’s. In SPU’s overtime win over Central Washington, Reeve tallied the Falcons’ first goal and assisted Sophia Chilczuk for the second.
• Reeve leads the team with 10 goals and is tied for first in the GNAC with four-game winners.
• Senior goalkeeper Molly Stinson currently has a career-save total of 269 and is just two saves shy of Jennifer Hull’s (2001-04) SPU record of 271. Stinson has started 57 of her 60 games in goal for the Falcons, producing a 36-16-7 record.
• The Falcons are undefeated in four home games this season. They have outscored opponents 11-5 at Interbay Stadium.
• A three-game homestand to close out the regular season starts against No. 2 Western Washington this Thursday. The Falcons control its own destiny heading into the GNAC Championships. If SPU wins its final three games, it will clinch a playoff berth. Seattle Pacific is tied for third place with Northwest Nazarene at 18 points. Simon Fraser sits in fifth with 12.

SIMON FRASER
LAST WEEK: Lost vs. Western Washington 3-0. Won vs. Central Washington 4-1.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 21 vs. Concordia, 2 p.m.
• No. 2 Western Washington scored two minutes into the game to hand Simon Fraser a 3-0 set-back Thursday evening.
• The Clan rebounded on Saturday, emerging victorious against Central Washington 4-1 at Terry Fox Field. Forward Emma Pringle tallied the game-winning goal while Katelyn Erhardsen scored twice to lift the Clan to its fourth GNAC win of the year.
• Pringle scored her GNAC-leading 12th goal of the season. SFU’s win kept pace in the GNAC standings as they sit fifth in the conference with 12 points with three games remaining.
• Jenna Baxter’s three-assist game against CWU makes her the Division II leader with 0.85 assists per match.
• SFU continues its homestand next Saturday when they welcome Concordia to Terry Fox Field at 2 p.m. The Clan finishes the year with a pair of games against Saint Martin’s and Western Oregon next week.
• Simon Fraser must win two of their final three games to have a chance to qualify for the GNAC Championships.

WESTERN OREGON
LAST WEEK: Tied 0-0 at Montana State Billings. Lost 1-0 at Northwest Nazarene.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 at Concordia, 7 p.m. Oct. 21 vs. Saint Martin's, 1 p.m.
• Western Oregon allowed just one goal in over 200 minutes of action last week, but could only come away with a 0-1-1 record. The Wolves drew 0-0 at Montana State Billings and fell 1-0 at Northwest Nazarene last week.
• In four of their last six matches, the Wolves have played in overtime matches and have now gone to extra sessions in five of its 12 contests.
• Seven different WOU players have scored a goal so far this season. Freshman Alyssa Tomasini and junior Meli Cortez are tied for the team lead with two goals each. The team’s six assists have come from five different players. Alexie Morris leads the team with two.
• Sophomore netminder Caitlin Kastelic has played all 1153 minutes for the Wolves. Kastelic owns a .719 save percentage and is fourth in the GNAC with 5.33 saves per game and third in the league with 64 saves this season.
• Western Oregon splits time on the road and at home this week, traveling to face Concordia on Thursday before hosting Saint Martin’s on Saturday.
• Saturday’s home match will be a Pink Out game for the Wolves in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

WESTERN WASHINGTON
LAST WEEK: Won 4-0 vs. Saint Martin's. Won 3-0 at Simon Fraser.
THIS WEEK: Oct. 19 at Seattle Pacific, 7 p.m. Oct. 21 vs. Central Washington 2 p.m.
• In the only GNAC women’s soccer match last Tuesday, Karli White scored an early goal to lift the Vikings to a 4-0 win over Saint Martin’s.
• Freshman Zoe Milburn, freshman Darby Doyle and sophomore Jordyn Bartelson added second-half goals to seal the win. Bartelson also recorded two assists.
• No. 2 Western Washington kept its momentum on Thursday, defeating Simon Fraser 3-2 at Terry Fox Field on Thursday.
• Liv Larson’s header two minutes into the match gave the Vikings the only goal they would need to improve to 12-0-0 on the season and 8-0-0 in GNAC play. Of the 12 victories this season, eight have come on the road.
•  In addition to the 36th consecutive victory, the 4th-longest in Division II history, the Vikings also extended its unbeaten streak to 37 consecutive games and is undefeated in its last 60 games against GNAC opponents (55-0-6). The unbeaten streak versus conference opponents, which dates back to 2013, is tied for the 2nd-longest in Divison II history.
• The 36-game winning streak is now two wins shy of the program record set from 1982-84. Emily Webster recorded her 22nd career assist against SFU, recording the fifth-most in program history.
• Western Washington is fifth in Division II with 9.90 points per match and is fourth in scoring offense with 3.33 goals per game. The Vikings are fifth in the nation with 39 assists. The Vikings are also No. 2 in the latest NCAA Division II West Region Poll.
• The Vikings lead all GNAC teams in shots (300), points (119), goals (40), goals allowed (3), shutouts (9) and assists (39).
• Western Washington travels to Interbay to take on Seattle Pacific this Thursday and returns home to host Central Washington to close the week.
