PORTLAND, Ore. – Following a pair of national championship performances at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships over the weekend, Dustin Nading joined GNAC Insider to talk about his time in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, GNAC Assistant Commissioner for Communications Blake Timm made his debut on the show to talk about the latest news and notes from around the conference when GNAC Insider goes live at 7 p.m. (Pacific) on Tuesday.

Nading was a crucial part to Western Oregon’s success at nationals in his sophomore season. Nading ran on the NCAA Division II record-breaking distance medley relay, which the Wolves won by a thousandth of a second. The Longview, Wash. native then took fourth place in the mile to earn his second All-American trophy of the meet. As a team, Western Oregon finished in a tie for sixth place with 24 points, which was the best finish by a GNAC team in conference history. Nading will now turn his attention to the outdoor track and field season, starting with the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open this weekend.

Timm joined the show while in his second year in the GNAC office. In his role, Timm oversees the media relations operations for the conference office, weekly and annual awards, social media, video streaming and video exchange, the conference’s historical records and media and game operations for GNAC championship events. Timm has been selected to receive the 2017 Warren Berg Award by the College Sports Information Directors of America at the organization’s annual convention this June.
