PORTLAND, Ore. – Starting Thursday the GNAC women’s soccer regular season will begin with all eight teams taking the pitch.

Out of the eight, two undefeated teams remain heading into conference play.

Montana State Billings put up a strong performance against Sioux Falls to earn its second victory of the season after a 2-1 victory over the University of Mary in its opener.

No. 6 Western Washington put away Notre Dame de Namur to improve to 4-0. The Vikings have yet to give up a goal this season.

Two two-win teams take high-powered offenses into conference play as well.

Seattle Pacific’s only loss came against Chico State on a second half goal. However, the Falcons lead the conference in goals scored (7) and assists (6).

Western Oregon is back from Hawaii where it went 2-1. The Wolves are tied for second in the conference in goals (4) and first in saves (24).

Northwest Nazarene is right in the thick of things after defeating Dominican 4-2 on Monday to equal WOU's win percentage and Central Washington is still a threat after losing two close matches.

Simon Fraser and Saint Martin’s look to bounce back in conference play after a tough start to the season.

Northwest Nazarene will travel to Lacey to take on Saint Martin’s in the first conference match of the day. NNU and Saint Martin’s will kick off at 3 p.m. Pacific.

MSU Billings will travel to Western Oregon in a battle of two of the top teams in the conference. That match will also start at 3 p.m. Pacific.

Central Washington will host Western Washington in Ellensburg at 4 p.m. Pacific where the Wildcats will try to avenge a 2-1 loss to the Vikings at home last year.

The last match of the day starts at 7 p.m. Pacific where Simon Fraser will take on host Seattle Pacific.
