D2ADA: 234 Earn Academic Achievement Awards

PORTLAND, Ore. - A total of 234 Great Northwest Athletic Conference athletes are among 6,975 athletes nation-wide to earn Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement awards for the 2013-14 school year.

A total of 156 Division 2 institutions were represented.  To be selected the athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years of college level work and been an active member of an intercollegiate team dsuring his/her last academic year.

GNAC teams represented included:  Seattle Pacific (77 athletes), Montana State BNillings (51 athletes), Western Washington (43 athletes), Western Oregon (28 athletes), Alaska (26 athletes), Simon Fraser (9 athletes).
