PORTLAND, Ore. – Episode 8 of GNAC Insider is now available for download via iTunes podcast as well as for archived listening via the 'on-demand' tab in the GNAC Stretch Internet portal. The latest episode featured live interviews with Alaska Anchorage cross country head coach Michael Friess, and Montana State Billings women’s basketball head coach Kevin Woodin and all-conference guard Bobbi Knudsen.

Friess discussed the upcoming GNAC cross country championship meet this Saturday in Monmouth, Ore. The UAA men and women are both the top ranked GNAC teams heading into the meet, which marks the first of eight conference championships throughout the 2013-14 school year. Admission to the meet is free.

Woodin’s Yellowjackets have been favored to win the GNAC title in the preseason coaches poll, and the coach talked about his team’s outlook for the 2013-14 season. 

Knudsen has been selected by the GNAC coaches as the 2013-14 preseason Player of the Year, and she discussed the upcoming season and some of the key members of the MSU Billings squad. 

GNAC Insider airs live every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Pacific time and is hosted by Kevin Young of Soundbrook Audio.
