PORTLAND, Ore. -- GNAC Insider is a regular audio podcast featuring the latest news on the student-athletes, coaches and events of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Produced by the conference office in association with www.soundbrook.com, the podcast is available through the conference web site, gnacsports.com, and as a free subscription through iTunes.

Oct. 2 Episode Highlights of GNAC Insider:

• An update on Simon Fraser men's soccer, which sits in first place in the GNAC with 15 points. Goalkeeper Hide Ozawa talks about the Clan, who have rebounded in a big way following a mid-September conference loss.
• Central Washington took care of ninth-ranked Humboldt State in Bothell, Wash., last Saturday to take over sole possession of first place in the GNAC football race. The Wildcats were stellar in all three phases of the game. Hear reaction from linebacker Stan Langlow, running back Demetrius Sumler, and head coach Blaine Bennett.
• GNAC insider checked in on Seattle Pacific volleyball, which came from behind to defeat Northwest Nazarene in Seattle last Saturday. Cailin Fellows had 20 kills and 18 digs in an overpowering performance for the Falcons.
• Dr. Gary Gray has taken over as director of athletics at University of Alaska Fairbanks following a long stint in the same role at GNAC member Montana State Billings.

Each GNAC Insider includes a roundup of conference activities and events, as well as interviews with conference newsmakers. You can listen to GNAC Insider by navigating to http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/gnac.portal and following these steps:

1. Find Event

After navigating to the above link, select the green "ON DEMAND" tab and identify the GNAC Insider you wish to listen to from the list located on the right side of the page. The list is sorted by date, with recent GNAC Insider podcasts located at the top.

2. Click to Listen

Once you choose a GNAC Insider, click the "LISTEN" link, located to the right of the GNAC Insider description. The GNAC Insider podcast will begin streaming within a few seconds.
