Why Did You Choose To Attend Alaska Anchorage?: For the adventure and because I received an athletic scholarship.

What Is Your Favorite Class You Have Taken And Why?: I took a sociology course called Demography with a favorite professor of mine. After this class, I realized how much I enjoy studying sociology and I decided to add it as a second major.

Who Is Your Favorite Professor And What Did You Enjoy About Learning From Him Or Her?: Chad Farrell has been my favorite professor because he helped me make the decision to double major in sociology. He was also one of the most engaging professors both online and in the classroom.

Years Involved In SAAC: Two years.

The Reason You Chose To Get Involved In SAAC: One of my teammates took me to a meeting during my freshman year. I wanted to be a part of a leadership group for all of the athletes at this university.

How Do You Feel Participating In SAAC Will Help You In Life After You Graduate?: I believe that being in SAAC will help in my engagement within whatever community I am a part of. I also believe that it has strengthened my ability to be a leader and role model for my peers.

Future Goals After Graduation: Graduate school.

What Is The Most Important Thing You’ve Learned About Balancing Athletics And Academics?: While it is one of the most challenging things, it is also the most rewarding.

Biggest Obstacle Overcome During Your Collegiate Career: The mental struggle of balancing school and sports along with injuries.

Best Advice You’d Give To An Incoming Freshman: It’s all worth it in the end so keep pushing and working hard.

Favorite Thing About Competing In The GNAC: The family that I have gained.

Most Memorable Sports-Related Moment: The 2019 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships.

If You Could Spend The Day With One Person (Past Or Present), Who Would It Be (And Why)?: My brother. He is the most special human being on the planet and I would love to spend the day with him.

Favorite Athlete: Aliya Mustafina.

Extracurricular Activities: Reading, yoga and cooking.

One Thing People Don’t Know About You Is: I’m shy, but I try to be outgoing.
