PORTLAND, Ore. - GNAC Insider returned Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) with three guests across three different spring sports to end the month of April.

Leading off the program was Concordia softball head coach Shelley Whitaker. The Cavaliers are currently preparing for the 2019 GNAC Softball Championships, which they will host beginning on Thursday at Porter Park in Portland.

This is Whitaker's third season at the helm at CU, taking over after serving as an associate athletic director at Yeshiva University.

The team will be making its second GNAC Championships appearance in program history and the first since the 2016 campaign. Its postseason run will begin on Thursday afternoon when it takes on No. 2 seed Western Oregon at 12 p.m.

Also joining the show was Saint Martin's men's golf standout, Tyler Fitchett. Fitchett is in his sophomore season in Lacey and has already made plenty of noise throughout his collegiate career.

Most recently, Fitchett tied for fourth place individually at the GNAC Championships with a 2-over par total score of 215. The performance helped him earn an invitation to the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Golf West/South Central Regional, which will be held May 9-11 in St. George, Utah. The Saints star currently leads his team and is tied for ninth in the conference with a stroke average of 74.0.

Fitchett will join the program to talk about his successful season while previewing his upcoming trip to regionals.

Tuesday's show was rounded out by a visit from Seattle Pacific sprints star, Grace Bley. Bley's team is heating up at the right time as it prepares for the GNAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 10 and 11 in Monmouth, Ore. The junior has shined throughout the season, most recently winning the 100 and 200-meter dash at the 38th annual Ralph Vernacchia Invitational meet last week.
