PORTLAND, Ore. - GNAC Insider returned Tuesday night at 7 p.m. (PDT) with three guests across two sports as the conference's baseball and softball teams begin to slide into the season's home stretch.

Leading off the program was Montana State Billings junior Andrew Schleusner. The Yellowjackets baseball team is fresh off a series win in their first home set of the season and currently sits at the top of the league standings.

Schleusner was dominant throughout the series against Saint Martin's and is the reigning GNAC Baseball Player of the Week after batting .562 with eight RBIs and four runs against the Saints.

The team has won 17 of its last 21 games and will welcome in second-place Western Oregon to Billings this weekend. Game one is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (MDT) on Friday afternoon.

Also joining the show was Western Oregon softball standout Ayanna Arceneaux. Arceneaux is in her sophomore season as a star outfielder in Monmouth.

It's been quite the second season for Arceneaux, who is the reigning GNAC Softball Player of the Week after an impressive series against Northwest Nazarene. The outfielder led the Wolves offensively by batting .667, going 8 for 12 with a run, three RBI and a double. Her efforts propelled her club to two victories against the Nighthawks.

Arceneaux joined the program to talk about her recent success while previewing what promises to be an exciting final three weeks of the regular season.

Tuesday's show was rounded out by a visit from Scott Harris, the Faculty Athletic Representative at Montana State Billings. Harris has been the Yellowjackets' FAR since 2004 and will be retiring at the end of the 2018-19 academic year. Prior to becoming the FAR, he served as the president of the MSUB Faculty Association and was the interim dean of the College of Business in 2001 and 2002.
