PORTLAND, Ore. - GNAC Insider returned Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. (PST) with three noteworthy guests as the conference's focus turns to postseason play.

Leading off the program was Montana State Billings cross country head coach Jonathan Woehl. The Yellowjackets have a busy week ahead of them as they will host the NCAA West Region Championships on Saturday in Billings.

Both the men's and women's teams are coming off eighth place finishes at the GNAC Championships earlier in the month. Woehl will join the show to talk about MSUB's performance thus far while previewing the road ahead in postseason competition. Saturday's men's race will begin at 10 a.m., while the women will start at 11:15 a.m.

Also joining the show was Steve Card, the athletic director at Western Washington University. Card has been with the Vikings for about three decades and was promoted to the full-time Director of Athletics position in 2014.

It's been a banner fall sports season for WWU, which will host the West Regional of the 2018 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championships this week in Bellingham. The Vikings enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the West Region and have won 25 straight matches.

On the field, the school's women's soccer team is preparing for Friday's West Regional title match against No. 1 seed UC San Diego. Card was in Portland last week to watch Western Washington dig out of a two-goal deficit and stave off elimination against GNAC postseason rival Concordia.

Tuesday's show was rounded out by a visit from Azusa Pacific football head coach Victor Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz recently guided the Cougars to a GNAC co-championship, clinching the honor with a 42-35 road win against No. 18 Central Washington on Saturday afternoon. His team is headed back to the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs for the second time in three years, beginning this Saturday at No. 2 seed Tarleton State.
