Why did you choose to attend SPU? I chose SPU because I loved the family feel of the community and the city of Seattle!

What is your favorite class you have taken in college and why? My favorite class I've taken was Financial Accounting because I like numbers. It was fun to try and balance income statements and trial balances.

Who is your favorite professor you've had in college and what did you enjoy about learning from him or her? My favorite professor is Dr. Craft. I enjoyed learning about different learning patterns of people and animals. I also had the opportunity to conduct research with him on delay discounting procedures.

How many years have you been involved in SAAC? Three years.

What was the reason you chose to get involved in SAAC? I chose to get involved in SAAC because it seemed like a lot fun. I liked the idea of coming up with fun events to try to get athletes to meet people from different teams.

What was your most memorable SAAC activity? Midnight Madness.

What was your favorite part of GNAC SAAC retreat? Hanging out with all of the other SAAC members from the different schools.

If I could change one NCAA rule, what would it be? That you could have more than four years of eligibility.

What is the most important thing you've learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics? Time management.

What does it mean to be a Division II student-athlete? It means focusing on education while competing at a high level.

Who are/is your current mentor(s)? Shelby Burford & Shanna Zolman.

What are your future goals after school? Go back to school for a master's program. I eventually want to own my own farm.

What was the biggest obstacle you overcame during your collegiate career? Being away from my family.

What is the best advice you’d give to an incoming freshman? Always do your best, no matter what you are working on.

If I could spend the day with one person (past or present), who would it be (and why)? Willie Allen because he played professional basketball and started a farm where he was able to give back to the community in an area that was a food desert.

What is your most memorable sports-related moment? Running four events at the Illinois state track meet.

What is one thing that people don't know about you? That I love farming!
