PORTLAND, Ore. – Guests for episode 50 of GNAC Insider included Saint Martin’s forward MacKenzie Taylor, Central Washington guard Dom Williams and Western Oregon baseball coach Kellen Walker.

Taylor is in her junior year playing for the Saints. The forward from Spokane Valley made three of five shots from three-point range last week, helping with two big wins over Montana State Billings and No. 8 Seattle Pacific. With the wins, the Saint Martin’s women’s basketball team repositioned themselves to push for a postseason berth. Taylor discussed these two wins and why she chose to attend Saint Martin's.

Williams is in his final season at guard for the Central Washington offense. The Curtis High School product has led the Wildcats to four straight wins while scoring an average of 19.3 points in each of those contests. Williams has his stroke from beyond the arc this year, leading the conference at 3.2 three-pointers each game while scoring the game winner a few weeks ago against WWU from distance. Williams talked about Central’s first road wins over Alaska and Alaska Anchorage since 2011 as well as having the ball in his hands in clutch situations.

Walker is entering his third year as the Western Oregon head baseball coach. In his previous two season, the Wolves have won 64 games in route to two regular season GNAC titles, the schools 12th and 13th baseball championships in a row. WOU kicks off the 2015 season in southern California on Sunday as the team travels to West Region power UC San Diego before facing Walker's alma mater, Point Loma Nazarene. Walker helped preview these matchups and discussed the early portion of Western Oregon's schedule.

GNAC Insider airs live at 7 p.m. Pacific time every Tuesday and is produced by the conference office. All episodes become available as free podcasts via iTunes, and for archived listening via GNAC.TV.
