PORTLAND, Ore. – The latest episode of GNAC Insider is now available as a free podcast via iTunes, and features a full slate of guests.

Joining host Kevin Young live on the latest program were Western Oregon track and field head coach Mike Johnson, WOU softball player Bridjet Box, and Saint Martin’s baseball player Chandler Tracy.

Johnson and the Wolves are set to host the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships, kicking off on Friday in Monmouth, Ore. Johnson previewed the field of nine teams heading into the competition, and talked about some of his top athletes.

Box, who led the Wolves to the GNAC Softball Championships title, discussed WOU’s placement as the No. 8 team in the NCAA West Regional playoffs. Box was named GNAC Softball tournament most valuable player, after hitting three home runs in the championship game and driving in seven runs total on the weekend.
