PORTLAND, Ore. – Episode 30 of GNAC Insider is now available as a free podcast via iTunes, and it features a trio of Great Northwest Athletic Conference guests.

Craig Stensgaard, Northwest Nazarene golf coach, McKayla Fricker, Seattle Pacific track and field runner, and Ken Garland, Saint Martin’s baseball head coach each joined host Kevin Young on the latest program.

Stensgaard’s men’s golf team is fresh off a GNAC title, winning the 2013-14 Championships presented by the Coeur d’Alene Resort in dramatic playoff fashion by a single stroke over Saint Martin’s on Tuesday. Stensgaard reviewed the tournament and commented on the exciting victory.

In her senior season at SPU, Fricker has developed into one of the elite track athletes in the conference. She shared her thoughts on her final season and the competition across the conference with the GNAC Championships looming less than a month away.

Garland’s Saints are coming of a 3-1 series victory over Montana State Billings, and are just one game out of third place in the GNAC baseball standings. Garland talked about his team’s recent success, including the efforts of West Region Player of the Week Chandler Tracy.

GNAC Insider returns to the regularly scheduled start time of 7 p.m. Pacific time on Tuesday next week, and is produced by the conference office in conjunction with Soundbrook. All episodes become available as free podcasts via iTunes, and for archived listening via the GNAC Stretch Internet portal.
