Oct. 11 Highlights of GNAC Insider
- Seattle Pacific University recently received a second consecutive top 10 national ranking in a survey recognizing the top institutions
across the country for excellence in academics and athletics. GNAC Insider spoke with SPU assistant athletic director Donte Quinine about the
honor. - The air quality in Ellensburg finally has taken a much-needed turn for the better, and it appears CWU athletic teams that have been affected will finally get some relief. Nearby wildfires since August have caused the problems, forcing the football and women’s soccer teams to move practices and games to unaffected locales. Associate athletic director Gary Hyatt talked about the impact on Wildcat teams.
- Alaska Anchorage will be the team to beat in both the men’s and women’s GNAC cross country championships Oct. 20. Veteran coach Michael Friess, along with runners Micah Chelimo and Susan Tanui, talk about the upcoming championships.

You can listen to GNAC Insider by navigating to http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/gnac.portal and following these steps:
1. Find Event
After navigating to the above link, select the green "ON DEMAND" tab and identify the GNAC Insider you wish to listen to from the list located on the right side of the page. The list is sorted by date, with recent GNAC Insider podcasts located at the top.
2. Click to Listen
Once you choose a GNAC Insider, click the "LISTEN" link, located to the right of the GNAC Insider description. The GNAC Insider podcast will begin streaming within a few seconds.
