PORTLAND, Ore. -- GNAC Insider is a regular audio podcast featuring the latest news on the student-athletes, coaches and events of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.   • Hear an update on the men's and women's basketball races as the second half of the conference season gets underway.
     
  • Big crowds have become the norm at Carver Gymnasium on the campus of Western Washington, and the 2012-13 season is shaping up as something special. The Vikings' men's and women's programs have combined to win 33 of 35 games so far this season. WWU marketing director Steve Brummel talks about the teams' success on home attendance.
     
  • Despite playing without injured point guard Sasha King, the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves pulled off a road sweep to earn GNAC Team of the Week  honors. First-year head coach Ryan McCarthy talks about his team, which takes to the road again this week to face the top two teams in the GNAC.
     
  • GNAC baseball and softball seasons begin this weekend, and GNAC Insider caught up with the head coaches of the teams picked to win conference titles. Hear from baseball coach Kellen Walker of Western Oregon and softball coach Lisa Allen of Montana State Billings.
     
  • Central Washington athletic director Jack Bishop talks about receiving the NCAA Division II Lifetime Achievement Award from the Athletic Directors' Association. Now in his 13th year at CWU, Bishop is retiring in June after 33 years in intercollegiate athletics.

After navigating to the above link, select the green "ON DEMAND" tab and identify the GNAC Insider you wish to listen to from the list located on the right side of the page. The list is sorted by date, with recent GNAC Insider podcasts located at the top.

2. Click to Listen

Once you choose a GNAC Insider, click the "LISTEN" link, located to the right of theGNAC Insider description. The GNAC Insider podcast will begin streaming within a few seconds.
