PORTLAND, Ore. - Pat Voeut of Alaska Fairbanks and Roger O'Neill of Saint Martin's are the GNAC Red Lion Men's Basketball Players of the Week.

The Saints' Chelsea Haskey earned the GNAC Red Lions Women's Player of the Week award.

Voeut scored 31 points in two games, including 25 in a 82-75 win at Central Washington, as the Nanooks earned their first conference road sweep in six years defeating both CWU and Northwest Nazarene.  UAF won the latter game 74-55.

Voeut, who made 12 of 20 field goal attempts, also led the Nanooks with eight assists and six steals as UAF improved to 8-4, including 3-1 in the GNAC.  Last year the Nanooks won just two of 18 conference games.

O'Neill scored a career-high 24 points as the Saints earned their first conference win of the season defeating Western Oregon 71-59.  O'Neill made nine of 15 field goal attempts, including both of his three-point attempts.  He also had seven rebounds, three assists and one block.

O'Neill, who is a four-year starter for the Saints, has 944 career points.

Haskey had 18 points, eight rebounds and two steals as the Saints upset Seattle Pacific 70-66 Saturday to earn their first conference win of the season.  In two contests, she had 34 points and 12 rebounds.  Over the past seven games, Haskey is averaging 15.7 points and 7.6 rebounds and is shooting 44.4 percent from the three-point line.
