PORTLAND, Ore. - Alaska Fairbanks and Central Washington will host collegiate cross country invitationals this week.

On Thursday, the Nanooks will host Montana State Billings and Seattle Pacific for a 6,000-meter race. The same three teams will also meet Saturday in a short-course 4,000-meter event.

On Saturday, Northwest Nazarene and Western Washington will join Central Washington in the CWU Apple Ridge Invitational in Yakima.

Two other events are on this week's schedule as Saint Martin’s competes Friday in the Portland State Viking Classic  and Alaska Anchorage remains in Hawaii to compete in the Chaminade Invitational at Central Oahu Regional Park.

Last Saturday, Alaska Anchorage's Dylan Anthony (Jr., Kodiak, AK)  and Susan Tanui  (Sr., Eldoret, Kenya) posted individual victories to lead the Seawolves to team victories in a dual at BYU-Hawaii.
