PORTLAND, Ore.  – Twenty-five student-athletes have been named to the 2014 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Baseball Academic all-conference team.

Tyler Marsh of Northwest Nazarene  heads up  the academic team with a 3.80 GPA.  He is a mechanical engineering major from Boise. 

Six players are repeaters from last year – Kasey Bielec and Ethan Sterkel of Central Washington; Brady Muller of Montana State Billings; Kaleb DeHaas of Northwest Nazarene, and Spencer Dodd, Travis Shaw, Chandler Tracy and Stephen Mahnken of Saint Martin’s.  Dodd was selected to the team for the third year in a row.

Saint Martin’s placed the most players on the academic team with seven.  Montana State Billings and Central Washington placed six players each on the academic team.  Northwest Nazarene earned four spots.  Western Oregon had two.
