PORTLAND, Ore. - Saint Martin's will join host Western Oregon and No. 2 seed Central Washington in the 2014 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Baseball Championships.

The double-elimination format tournament will run May 8-9 on the Western Oregon baseball field in Monmouth, Ore.

Western Oregon wrapped up its 13th consecutive regular season title and will host the tournament for the second consecutive season. The Wolves (29-18 overall) finished their regular season GNAC schedule with a record of 22-10, and will complete its regular season slate with a non-conference doubleheader against Lewis-Clark State on Sunday.

Saint Martin's earned the No. 3 seed by defeating Central Washington 11-6 Saturday.  The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was rained out.

The win, however, combined with Montana State Billings' two victories (6-5, 3-2) Saturday over Northwest Nazarene, clinched the Saints the No. 3 seed.  SMU will take a five-game win streak into the tournament.
