MONMOUTH, Ore. - Grace Morgan swept the 100 and 200 meters to account for two of five individual wins by Alaska Anchorage Saturday as the Seawolves won their first Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's track and field team title outscoring three-time defending champion Seattle Pacific 175-165 at McArthur Stadium.

Morgan, who set a meet record in the 200 meters in Friday's prelims with a time of 24.30, swept the two sprint races for the second year in a row, posting times of 12.12 and 24.44.

The Seawolves also got wins Saturday from Ruth Keino in the 5,000 meters, Haleigh Lloyd in the 400 hurdles and Karolin Anders in the high jump giving them seven individual victories in the meet.

Keino also won the 10,000 meters on Friday, while Susan Tanui finished first in the steeplechase Friday. Keino's wins were her second in each event; she won the 5,000 in 2011 and the 10K in 2012.

Lloyd, who set a meet record in the 400 hurdle prelims Friday, posted a time of 1:01.21. Her prelim time of 1:00.54 eclipsed the old mark of 1:01.78 by Heidi Dimmitt of Western Washington in 2008.

Seattle Pacific didn't go down without a fight as it won a total of four events Saturday.

Ali Worthen, who was selected the Outstanding Female Performer, won the 100 hurdles, earning her third individual title.  She also won the heptathlon last week with a meet-record score of 5,390 points and the long jump on Friday.

Worthen also finished third in the 200 and high jump Saturday and led SPU to a win in the 4x100 relay in a GNAC and meet record time of 46.77.

The Falcons also got a win Saturday from McKayla Fricker in the 800 meters, her second straight in that event, and in the 4x400 relay in a meet record time of 3:46.17.  Fricker anchored that victory.

In addition to Morgan, Helen Crofts also won two events Saturday sweeping the 400 and 1500.  Her time in the 400 of 54.51 was a meet record breaking her own mark of 54.86 she set in Friday's prelims.  That mark broke her own record of 55.25 she set in winning the event in 2011.   She also won the 1500 in 2011 before redshirting last season.

Lindsey Wells of Western Washington won the hammer for the second year in a row with a heave of 170-8 leading the Vikings to a third-place team finish.
