PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - With conditions toughening at the Division II Women's Golf Championships, the GNAC's two competing individuals turned in a pair of solid rounds on Wednesday at the PGA National Champion Course.

Simon Fraser junior Jaya Rampuri finished the day with a score of 4-over par 77 and sits in a tie for 16th place. Teammate Kylie Jack carded a 9-over total of 82 and moved into a tie for 61st.

The individual competition at the NCAA Championships consists of three rounds played over three days on the 6,081-yard, par-73 course.

With some wild changes throughout the leaderboard, Rampuri was able to move inside the top-10 early on Wednesday thanks to a steady start. She started on hole No. 10 and played the first eight holes in 1-under par, led by a birdie on the 450-yard, par-5 11th. She would ultimately finish the day with two birdies before signing for a 77.

Matching yesterday's total of 82, Jack made seven straight pars to get her day off to a great start. She now sits at 18-over par for the championship, moving up nine spots on the individual leaderboard entering the final round.

Rampuri now heads into that final round just eight strokes off the pace set by Academy of Art's Anahi Servin. Servin carded the second-lowest round of anyone in the field on Wednesday with a 2-under par 71.

Play will resume on Thursday morning in Palm Beach Gardens as the top golfers in Division II return to the course for third round action.
