GNAC Insider is a regular audio podcast featuring the latest news on the student-athletes, coaches and events of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Produced by the conference office in association with www.soundbrook.com, the podcast is available through the conference web site, gnacsports.com, and as a free subscription through iTunes.

• In what of the most memorable games in GNAC history, Western Washington wowed a sellout crowd with a last-second victory over Central Washington last week. The win was WWU's 19th straight, establishing a GNAC record. Hear WWU radio broadcaster Doug Lange's sensational call of the game-winning basket.

• Things are heating up in the women's GNAC basketball race, and the top four teams in the regular season standings square off this week. Carmen Dolfo, head coach at Western Washington, talks about her team's buzzer-beater last week to knock off seventh-ranked Simon Fraser.

• One of the surprise teams in GNAC hoops this winter is University of Alaska Fairbanks, which is in second place entering a rivalry game Saturday vs. Alaska Anchorage. Head coach Mick Durham's team has won six straight and has doubled UAF's win total from a year ago.

• Find out who earned Red Lion Player of the Week honors in basketball and track and field.

GNAC Insider is the official, free podcast of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Each GNAC Insider includes a roundup of conference activities and events, as well as interviews with conference newsmakers. You can listen to GNAC Insider by navigating to http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/gnac.portal and following these steps:

1. Find Event

After navigating to the above link, select the green "ON DEMAND" tab and identify the GNAC Insider you wish to listen to from the list located on the right side of the page. The list is sorted by date, with recent GNAC Insider podcasts located at the top.

2. Click to Listen

Once you choose a GNAC Insider, click the "LISTEN" link, located to the right of the GNAC Insider description. The GNAC Insider podcast will begin streaming within a few seconds.
