It was the first triple-double for a GNAC volleyball athlete since SPU's Angie Wodrich had 12 kills, 15 digs and 10 blocks against UC San Diego on Aug. 24, 2007.
Joining Terpstra in double figure kills was freshman Kaitlyn Tuholski with 11 kills and Reisa Fessler with 10. Kailey Trautmann had 27 digs and Haley Abbott had nine blocks to key the Crusader defense.

"I'm glad to get a win under our belts with this group," Andaya said. "Defensively, we were strong, which ultimately determined the win. Offensively, we got better each set, so that was a positive."

The Falcons are now 8-1-2 all-time in season openers, including 10-0-1 on their home pitch at Interbay Stadium.
Elsewhere Thursday Northwest Nazarene blanked Eastern Oregon 4-0 and Western Oregon fell to Humboldt State 1-0 at Arcata in the head coaching debut of Steve Ancheta.
In evening matches, Western Washington earned a scoreless home draw with nationally second-ranked UC San Diego, Central Washington earned a 0-0 draw with Cal State Stanislaus and Saint Martin's lost 2-0 at Cal State L.A.
The goal by SPU's Jenkins was the finishing touch on a free kick taken by defender Andrea Chan, who earlier had scored the tying goal for the Falcons.
Chan's kick from just beyond the midfield stripe took one bounce in the penalty area in front of Chico goalkeeper Brianna Furner's 6-yard box. Jenkins went up and sent a header into the back left corner at 68:59.
Chan converted a penalty kick at 30:23 to tie the game for SPU after Chico State's Lisa Webster drilled a shot into the high right corner just 6:09 into the game to put the Wildcats on top.
Autumn Yturbe scored Northwest Nazarene's opening goal and Jenny Field added two more as the Crusaders won their home opener.
Yturbe opened the scoring in the 35th minute when her shot defected off EOU goalkeeper Chantal Schefers.
Schefers appeared to have control of the offering before the ball came off and rolled across. Julianne Steele earned an assist on the play, sending the ball up the sideline for Yturbe to finish.
Field scored her goals in the 69th and 89th minutes. Her second goal came off a deft crossing pass from Celina Mortensen.
NNU also got a goal in the 84th minute as defender Jessie Cahill took a four-yard shot just inside the right post after freshman Haley Steever served a ball up the middle.
The Crusaders outshot the Mountaineers 16-9 and held a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks. NNU goalkeeper Tanya Zickefoose recorded four saves.
Carly Kolpin's goal in the 26th minute lifted Humboldt State over Western Oregon.
Humboldt State outshot Western Oregon 10-4 in the contest as Wolf goalie Brittney Rigtrup had four saves.
Both Western Washington and Central Washington survived huge shot deficits in their contests.
The Vikings were outshot by UC San Diego 21-9 as Jamie Arthurs had eight saves to record the shutout. Triton goalkeeper Kristin Armstrong was called upon to make just one save.
UCSD also had an 11-4 advantage in corner kicks. In regulation, the CCAA squad outshot WWU 20-6. In the overtime periods, the Vikings took two of the three shots.
“I'm really proud,” said WWU coach Travis Connell . “We had a lot of injuries, some players out, others playing injured, half our team taped up, but we found a way.”
The Vikings even had the best chance of overtime. In the 101st minute, a shot by Alicia Patten deflected into the path of Emily Frankland , whose first-time strike from 10 yards grazed the outside of the right post.
“We were dangerous on the counter,” said Connell. “We gave ourselves some chances to win.”
Central Washington earned its draw despite being outshot 30-5 as Kori Butterfield had eight saves matching her career high. Corner kicks favored the Warriors by an 11-0 margin.
“Kori was amazing,” CWU head coach Michael Farrand said. “She was by far the player-of-the game for us tonight.”
Cal State L.A. got goals from Lisa Ohberg in the first period and Norie Pablo in the second period in its win as they outshot Saint Martin's 16-6. Gina Cardenas had six saves for the Saints.

The Wildcats thought they were the beneficiary of an own goal with 33:22 left in the game, but the offside flag went up to keep the game scoreless.
Fort Lewis scored three second-half goals to beat the Yellowjackets, including the eventually game-winner by Jordan Alexander who curled the ball into the upper left corner from just inside the 18.
“I thought we played really well in the first half and looked comfortable early,” said MSUB head coach Dan McNally.
“We were defending well, but we conceded a soft goal early in the second half, and they put us under a lot of pressure for the remainder of the match."
MSUB keeper Eoin Hurley was a wall early as he faced nine shots in the half and turned away two that were a threat. He also had help from the post as a shot by Fabian Kling at the 25:08 mark found the near post to keep the game all square.
